We are seeking a motivated Insurance Agent to join our remote sales team at Slingo Financial Services. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and eager to contribute to our mission of providing essential coverage to families. The successful candidate will engage with customers, set appointments, and assist them throughout the application process.
Responsibilities:
- Contact and build rapport with prospective customers to understand their insurance needs.
- Educate customers on various types of insurance coverage and provide tailored recommendations.
- Assist customers with applying for their desired policies and monitor the underwriting process.
- Evaluate existing insurance policies and recommend additional coverage when necessary.
- Maintain all insurance documents in a confidential manner.
- Continuously update job knowledge and stay informed about new products and services.
- Fulfill all policy requirements in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Life and health insurance license.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Sales experience is preferred, along with prior experience in the insurance industry.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to assist customers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a willingness to go the extra mile.
