Maintenance Electrician

A well-established industrial manufacturing facility in the Cedar Park/North Austin area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support plant operations and production equipment. This is a hands-on role best suited for someone with strong industrial electrical maintenance experience, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate will have journeyman-level electrical knowledge, experience working with 3-phase power and 480V systems, and the ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, plant equipment, and production machinery
• Assemble, install, test, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, controls, and related equipment
• Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment, hand tools, and electrical schematics
• Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase power systems, transformers, PLCs, motor controls, and related components
• Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, panels, and other electrical systems
• Inspect electrical systems for hazards, defects, code concerns, and needed repairs
• Perform continuity and safety testing using voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and multimeters
• Complete preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in a timely and professional manner
• Follow all required safety procedures and comply with OSHA standards

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent journeyman-level experience strongly preferred
• Strong industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Knowledge of 480V systems, 3-phase power, PLC troubleshooting, and motor control circuits
• Minimum 2+ years of related electrical maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to work safely, communicate clearly, and support production needs
• Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
