Join our dynamic team as a Travel Welder in Louisville, KY! We are looking for skilled welders who are ready to take their talents on the road and work on exciting projects across various locations. -With this opportunity, travel time is about 30-35% of the year. Any time you are not on the road you would get in shop hours.
-Foundational mechanical repair and assembly skills are a plus but not required.
-Per Diem is given and travel pay is involved
-All travel costs are covered

Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks on-site at various locations, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, and stick welders.
- Conduct inspections and tests on welds to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Travel to different job sites as required, often with short notice.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
