Web Handling Systems Assembly and Customer Support Technician

At Double E Group—an international market leader in web handling, material handling, and converting—we supply innovative products to the paper, tissue, film, and foil converting industries. We’re looking for a technician who enjoys both assembling precision equipment and helping customers get the most from it.

Is This You?

  • Do you take pride in turning routings, work instructions, drawings, and specifications into a finished assembly?
  • Are you confident testing and documenting performance before a product ships?
  • Can you troubleshoot installed equipment over the phone, via computer, and face-to-face at a customer site?
  • Do you like teaching others—training operators and maintenance teams to run systems safely and effectively?

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble products to defined routings, work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • Test, evaluate, and document assembled products prior to shipment.
  • Support customers by diagnosing issues remotely and in person on installed products.
  • Train customer employees on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Travel about 10–15% overnight to customer locations for startups, maintenance, and training.
  • Pitch in on other assigned tasks as needed.

Travel Snapshot

This role involves approximately 10–15% travel with domestic overnights. Experience providing international service support is a plus.
