Senior Accountant Role
As the Senior Accountant at Facta, you'll be working with our SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) clients to help Facta provide accounting services. This role involves not only managing financial processes but also ensuring compliance, providing strategic financial guidance, and contributing to the overall success of our client-facing accounting team. You'll play a crucial role in month-end close processes, uphold the highest standards of financial accuracy, and foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems and positioning Facta as a trusted name in the software industry.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and standards.
Conduct monthly account reconciliations, identify, and resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
Utilize Quickbooks Online, Bill.com, and expense management software (Ramp, Divvy, Brex).
Manage bank transactions, financial data and generate reports for analysis.
Manage audit support, document gathering, generating request, tax, payroll issue.
Review and maintain accurate fixed asset records.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
Assist with annual financial audit, annual recurring revenue, and tax preparation.
Communicate and respond to clients and US-based accounting team.
Maintain working hours that are concurrent with US companies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting (CPA is preferred but not required)
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS industry
Expertise in using Quickbooks is a must.
Knowledgeable in Bill.com and NetSuite is preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong management skills and with ambition to lead a team.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
