Picture this: it’s 2:55 pm and you’re gathering a tight-knit team of 8–12 operators. In five minutes you’ll align on the day’s safety priorities, quality checks, and production goals. You’ve got clear standards, the support of a Group Leader (Supervisor), and a culture at Alliance Laundry Systems built on integrity and results. Now it’s go time.
How You’ll Lead
- Coach new team members from day one, ensuring a confident start and steady growth.
- Host concise pre-shift meetings that keep safety, quality, HR, and throughput front and center.
- Champion safety: confirm PPE is used correctly and procedures are followed.
- Strengthen the system: collect improvement ideas, test changes, and sustain gains.
- Track performance with clarity—own KPIs, Hour-by-Hour Boards, and work stacks.
- Standardize the work: build, maintain, and audit Team Member Standard Work.
- Reinforce discipline on the floor with 5S audits and Dupont Stop Observations.
- Use SAP to support production accuracy and flow.
- Hand off cleanly: communicate across shifts with other Team Leads and Leaders.
- Raise flags early—escalate issues to the Group Leader to remove roadblocks.
- Resolve conflicts through coaching, with support from Group and Area Leaders.
- Contribute wherever needed to keep the line moving.
When You’ll Work
Second shift: 3 pm–1 am, Monday through Thursday, plus Friday overtime when required.
What You’ve Mastered
- Leading people in work or volunteer settings.
- Manufacturing process know-how (preferred).
- Servant leadership with a people-first mindset.
- Sharp communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
- Proven leadership experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical & Pre-Employment Essentials
- Comfort with standing for long periods; ability to sit; manual dexterity; stooping and bending.
- Pre-employment physical with a baseline ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check
