Lean Operations Line Lead

What if your leadership could lift a whole line?

Picture this: it’s 2:55 pm and you’re gathering a tight-knit team of 8–12 operators. In five minutes you’ll align on the day’s safety priorities, quality checks, and production goals. You’ve got clear standards, the support of a Group Leader (Supervisor), and a culture at Alliance Laundry Systems built on integrity and results. Now it’s go time.

How You’ll Lead

  • Coach new team members from day one, ensuring a confident start and steady growth.
  • Host concise pre-shift meetings that keep safety, quality, HR, and throughput front and center.
  • Champion safety: confirm PPE is used correctly and procedures are followed.
  • Strengthen the system: collect improvement ideas, test changes, and sustain gains.
  • Track performance with clarity—own KPIs, Hour-by-Hour Boards, and work stacks.
  • Standardize the work: build, maintain, and audit Team Member Standard Work.
  • Reinforce discipline on the floor with 5S audits and Dupont Stop Observations.
  • Use SAP to support production accuracy and flow.
  • Hand off cleanly: communicate across shifts with other Team Leads and Leaders.
  • Raise flags early—escalate issues to the Group Leader to remove roadblocks.
  • Resolve conflicts through coaching, with support from Group and Area Leaders.
  • Contribute wherever needed to keep the line moving.

When You’ll Work

Second shift: 3 pm–1 am, Monday through Thursday, plus Friday overtime when required.

What You’ve Mastered

  • Leading people in work or volunteer settings.
  • Manufacturing process know-how (preferred).
  • Servant leadership with a people-first mindset.
  • Sharp communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical & Pre-Employment Essentials

  • Comfort with standing for long periods; ability to sit; manual dexterity; stooping and bending.
  • Pre-employment physical with a baseline ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check
