You begin your shift under the guidance of a Production Supervisor, teaming up with seasoned Senior and Journey Test Operators. With a laptop in hand, you connect to a Manitowoc crane, download programs, set parameters, and clear error codes. As the day progresses, you move from hands-on testing to studying load charts, test papers, and log books, steadily building mastery of crane and rigging symbols and signals. Throughout it all, you support continuous improvement programs such as Lean, 5S, and TPR.

This position will be required to work outside at least 80% of the time, in various weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use tools or controls. Incumbent must be willing to work at various heights.
