What You’ll Do
Interpret & Prepare: Read job layouts, specs, and requirements to plan efficient, accurate make-ready.
Run the Work (≈80%): Set up and operate Bobst Platen and Heidelberg Cylinder die-cutting presses to Snyder packaging quality standards; adjust registration, pressure, and speeds; verify with predetermined run pulls.
Strip Cleanly (≈10%): Configure stripping tooling on a pin setting table for effective waste removal.
Record & Report (≈5%): Perform computer data entry, complete forms, and maintain operating and maintenance records.
Care for the Equipment (≈5%): Clean machinery and perform routine maintenance; submit maintenance requests when needed.
Collaborate & Comply: Follow direction from the supervisor and plant manager; uphold Snyder’s safety and quality standards.
What You Bring
Hands-on experience with die-cutting equipment.
Basic shop math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
Intermediate English communication (read, write, listen, speak).
Basic computer skills for data entry, typing, and printing.
Comfort reading a ruler and working with measurement units.
