Retail Fixtures Program Manager

Build the retail spaces customers remember

At TC Millwork, a 100% employee-owned ESOP, we craft custom retail store fixtures, architectural millwork, immersive retail environments, and casino furnishings for some of the nation’s most recognizable brands. We’re seeking a seasoned Retail Fixtures Program Manager to own complex customer programs from initial award through engineering, production, and shipment.

What your day looks like

You are the single point of contact for your accounts—translating vision into manufacturable solutions, clearing roadblocks, and coordinating across Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Shipping. You’ll keep multiple projects moving in parallel, anticipate risks, and protect scope, schedule, cost, and quality.

You will

  • Shepherd awarded projects from purchase order through final shipment and closeout.
  • Build and maintain integrated schedules, key milestones, and delivery commitments.
  • Partner with Engineering to drive drawings, specs, materials, finishes, and revisions to completion—accurately and on time.
  • Align with Procurement on material lead times so parts and components arrive when production needs them.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to track progress, surface constraints, and resolve issues that threaten deadlines.
  • Provide proactive, clear status updates to customers, navigating changes, approvals, and risks.
  • Interpret customer specs, shop drawings, BOMs, and program requirements; verify feasibility and completeness.
  • Control engineering changes and clearly communicate impacts on cost, timeline, and production workflows.
  • Identify risks early and drive corrective actions to protect outcomes.
  • Monitor project costs and help sustain healthy margins.
  • Coordinate prototypes, first-article builds, and production approvals as needed.
  • Oversee programs spanning multiple store locations and phased rollouts.
  • Ensure packaging, labeling, shipping, and installation requirements are accurately executed per customer standards.
  • Keep ERP and project systems current with reliable data and documentation.
  • Lead internal and customer meetings; capture decisions and next steps.
  • Support Sales with estimates, timelines, and communications when requested.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to exact specifications.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of project management in store fixtures, retail environments, architectural or commercial millwork, or a closely related manufacturing setting.
  • Hands-on knowledge of woodworking, laminates, veneers, solid surface, metal, glass, lighting, and related fixture components.
  • Experience partnering with retail clients, general contractors, designers, architects, or running fixture programs.
  • Proven ability to balance multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Fluency reading architectural/shop drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
  • Strong organization and problem-solving with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; familiarity with ERP/manufacturing systems preferred (Global Shop Solutions experience is a plus).

Preferred

  • Background in multi-location retail rollouts.
  • Experience managing the full lifecycle from concept/prototype through production and installation.
  • Knowledge of CNC manufacturing and modern woodworking processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent experience.

Who thrives here

  • A hands-on leader who connects design and engineering decisions to manufacturing, cost, quality, and lead time.
  • Someone who takes ownership, is proactive, and holds teams accountable while building strong relationships.
  • A communicator who sweats the details and still sees the big picture in a fast-paced, deadline-driven shop.
