Janitor

Job Title: Janitor – Manufacturing Facility (2nd Shift)

Shift:

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

Training required on 1st Shift

Pay Rate:

$20/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety within our manufacturing facility. This role is essential in supporting daily operations by ensuring work areas, restrooms, and common spaces are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and production areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the facility
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly
• Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as needed
• Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as required
• Follow all safety guidelines and proper use of cleaning chemicals
• Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
• Support general facility upkeep tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment (may include noise, dust, or varying temperatures)

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift
• Must be dependable and able to work the full shift schedule
