Your impact
- Prepare, set up, and operate die‑cutting equipment—stripping and blanking included.
- Complete precise make‑readies; pull and inspect samples to verify all specs.
- Maintain in‑process quality, adjusting for cutting, scoring, and creasing performance.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
- Champion safety and efficiency while contributing to a strong team culture.
What you bring
- Background as a Die Cutting Operator/Pressman in printing, packaging, or folding carton.
- Proficiency with steel rule dies, counter plates, make‑ready materials, and stripping/blanking tools.
- Working knowledge of paperboard substrates (SBS, CCNB, Kraft) and their effects on the process.
- Ability to read job tickets, CAD layouts, die lines, and quality specifications.
- Track record of completing accurate make‑readies with limited supervision.
- Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting ability on die‑cut equipment.
- Experience with Bobst, Heidelberg, or similar machinery preferred.
- Competent math and measurement skills for tight tolerances.
- Unwavering attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long stretches, and work in a manufacturing setting.
- Team‑oriented mindset and solid work ethic.
