Maintenance Technician 2/3

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair injection and extrusion blow molding equipment

• Troubleshoot and support hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems

• Perform maintenance on plant utilities including:- Compressed air systems

  • Chilled water systems
  • Vacuum systems (loaders, pumps, blenders)
  • Conveyors, grinders, and robotics

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and parts lists

• Diagnose equipment issues using tools such as multimeters, amp clamps, and gauges

• Complete and manage work orders through internal systems (IQMS)

• Coordinate parts ordering and ensure proper documentation of repairs

• Support plant maintenance during overtime, weekends, and shutdowns

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Understanding of high-voltage systems and 24VDC controls
• Willingness to learn and expand technical capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with plastics/molding equipment
• Familiarity with machining tools (mills, lathes, drill presses, etc.)
• Welding experience (steel, stainless, aluminum)
• Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance fields

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and moving equipment
• Regular standing, walking, climbing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
