We are seeking a skilled Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our Mamaroneck, NY- based client, specializing in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of commercial HVAC systems for clients based around Manhattan. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to clients.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on commercial HVAC systems including chillers, boilers, water source heat pumps, cooling towers, package rooftops, split systems, controls, pumps, and VAVs
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematic drawings accurately
- Deliver excellent customer service while addressing client needs
- Apply problem‐solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain strong organization and attention to detail
- Work efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
- Carry and climb ladders up to 40 feet
- Participate in after‐hours on‐call rotation
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC Service Technician experience
- High School diploma or GED required; technical school education preferred
- EPA certification required
- Troubleshooting and service technician sst card
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass drug test and background check
- OSHA certification a plus (not required)
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks: climbing, carrying 75 lbs+, bending, reaching, kneeling, crawling, working at heights and in confined spaces
