Industrial Mechatronics Maintenance Specialist

Step Into a Day Where Machines Meet Mastery

Picture this: a conveyor pauses mid-shift, a robot flags a sensor fault, and a VFD hums off pitch. You review ladder logic, trace signals on a schematic, swap a worn bearing, and by lunch the line is humming again. By afternoon, you're fine-tuning a PLC routine and closing out your CMMS notes. If that rhythm sounds like your kind of day, you’ll thrive with Ashley Furniture as our next Industrial Mechatronics Maintenance Specialist.

What You’ll Tackle

  • Find and fix complex faults across conveyors, CNCs, robotics, automated machinery, and material handling systems.
  • Use electrical schematics, PLC logic, mechanical drawings, and diagnostic tools to pinpoint root causes and implement lasting fixes.
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance: inspect, lubricate, adjust, and replace components to protect uptime.
  • Work confidently on 120–480V systems, including motor controls, VFDs, sensors, relays, contactors, and control panels.
  • Service mechanical assemblies—hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, and power transmission components.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs, and engage with building automation systems when needed.
  • Respond rapidly to breakdowns to minimize downtime and return equipment to service safely.
  • Record work with precision in our CMMS, maintaining accurate histories and documentation.
  • Champion safety: follow LOTO, OSHA standards, and company procedures every single time.
  • Partner with production to plan work during downtimes and communicate status clearly to leaders.

  • Mechanical know-how with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, power transmission, and industrial equipment.
