You love solving plant-floor electrical puzzles, you’re fluent in PLCs, and you’re ready to be the primary electrical resource at our Mooresville, NC site. You’ll report to the Maintenance Manager and take on advanced troubleshooting and installations where precision and speed matter.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and fix issues on 120/208/240/480V systems
  • Troubleshoot, wire, and program PLCs and PC-based controls
  • Work with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron (Fanuc exposure welcomed)
  • Interpret mechanical/electrical blueprints and collaborate on hydraulics/pneumatics
  • Assist with fabrication/welding-related electrical needs
  • Own and safely use your personal tools

Must-Haves

  • HS Diploma/equivalency; 2-year Electro-Mechanical technical degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience
  • PLC troubleshooting, programming, and wiring competence
  • Comfort with manufacturing environments and servo motors
  • Team-first mindset; ability to work overtime and off shifts as needed
  • Consistent, on-time attendance to succeed long term

Physical Realities

  • Standing, walking, or sitting for most of the shift; frequent walking over 500 feet
  • Frequent reaching/handling/fingering/feeling
  • Body rotation up to 180 degrees
  • Climb stairs frequently for parts access
  • Occasional balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or talking
  • Lift up to 50 lbs; occasional push/pull
  • Operate controls with both hands/arms and both feet/legs
  • Indoor environment; close work with others; heavy teamwork
  • Summer production floor may exceed 95°F; occasional vibration from shakers/grinders
  • Constant mild plastic odor; occasional battery fluid smell during lift battery changes
  • PPE: safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, proper footwear; hair nets on production floor and in the warehouse

Tech Stack

  • PLCs: Fanuc, Allen-Bradley, Siemens; plus Mitsubishi and Omron exposure preferred
  • Servo motors and motion components
