Your impact
- Integrate materials management across the cluster so our bakeries operate as one synchronized system.
- Run the monthly IBP process for strategic materials and product supply planning (cycling strategies, flexible scheduling).
- Own day‑to‑day execution across warehousing, transportation, import/export, and co‑packing.
- Drive continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives that cut cost and carbon while lifting service performance.
- Install robust governance and financial controls; deliver the logistics operating budget and the annual capital (AC) plan.
- Codify standards, KPIs, and PDCA routines; ensure training, coaching, and an annual training plan for all employees.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for product supply/materials events.
- Develop and manage long‑term 3PL/co‑packer partnerships; promote best‑practice sharing across the network.
- Ensure adherence to health & safety, quality, food defense, regulatory, and legal requirements.
- Maintain and test a business continuity plan for logistics operations.
What you’ll bring to the table
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years of leadership experience (union setting preferred) with strong FMCG/CPG logistics exposure.
- Hands‑on manufacturing background and required functional experience in Product Supply and Materials Management, including project management.
- Strategic, financially savvy leader with excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and tough‑minded negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Food and Beverage Manufacturing.

Location
This position is onsite 100% at our Chicago Bakery located at 7300 S Kedzie Ave.
Compensation & benefits
Base salary: $137,300 - $188,825, based on experience, skills, education, and budget. Includes eligibility for a high‑impact bonus program with potential overachievement tied to performance and company results.
