Overview:
The Electrical Designer will design and assist troubleshooting electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
•Take customer supplied specifications and create control and network drawings
• Produce electrical and pneumatic designs and modifications by identifying project objectives and issues
• Research and develop control engineering techniques and approaches
• Participate in Risk Assessments
• Build Sequence of Operations
• Work within a budget to develop Bills of Materials
• Verify and validate designs as needed
• Provide system documentation as required
• Customer support
•Any additional duties assigned by management
Qualifications & Experience:
Any combination of education and/or experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered.
Typical qualifications would be:•Bachelor’s degree in computer or electrical engineering or similar preferred, but not required
•5 years of experience of direct field experience or equivalent
• Sound skills with technical, troubleshooting, and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and advance multiple projects in parallel
• Familiarity with NFPA, ISO, and CSA standards
• Work well in a multi-disciplined team environment
• Willing to train in the following disciplines are required:
• EPlan
• AutoCAD Electrical
• Sistema

•Design experience with EPlan and/or AutoCA
