IATF 16949 Quality Systems Engineer

Step into a day in the life

You start your morning reviewing SPC trends and overnight NCR activity, then huddle with QC Technicians to triage production concerns. A customer calls—you’re their quality point of contact—and you walk them through a PPAP update and safe launch status for a new program. Midday, you facilitate a 5-Why session to drive a CAPA to closure. Later, you fine-tune training content for production teams on product requirements, and wrap the day preparing evidence for an upcoming internal and external audit. Through it all, you’re safeguarding compliance to IATF 16949:2016 and ensuring every part meets customer and regulatory expectations.
