5-Axis CNC Programmer & Machining Specialist

Build the future of precision manufacturing

Step into a software-defined factory where our own platform powers production, and a team shaped by aerospace, robotics, and advanced engineering tackles parts others won’t. As a 5-Axis CNC Programmer & Machining Specialist, you’ll program, set up, and run complex parts end-to-end—turning customer requirements into flawless chips and clean inspections.

A day in the life

  • Translate prints and models into efficient toolpaths using hyperMILL, Mastercam, and GibbsCAM; apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) to hit quality and cycle-time targets.
  • Set up and operate mills, lathes, mill-turns, and 5th-axis mills to run the programs you create—owning the part from CAM to first article and through production.
  • Tune G-Code and M-Code at the control, validate geometry, and document setups for repeatability.
  • Perform precision measurement & hand metrology, advanced inspection & gauge measurement, and verify GD&T feature control.
  • Troubleshoot tooling and equipment, align machine geometry, and handle spindle maintenance & repair as needed.
  • Support installations and repairs, and execute efficient machine setups for production runs; use manual machining skills when it’s the right tool for the job.

What you already bring

  • Comfort across Lathe, Mill, Mill-Turn, and 5th-axis Mill environments.
  • Fluency in CAM (hypermill/hyperMILL, Mastercam, GibbsCAM) and readiness to adapt to evolving workflows.
  • Confidence programming and operating CNCs to meet client-specific requirements.
