What you’ll take on
- Adhere to SOPs, GMPs, and GDPs while executing finishing operations.
- Laser etch components and program jobs using Visual Laser Marker (VLM) software.
- Run ultrasonic cleaning, blasting, tumbling, and passivation processes to spec.
- Assemble parts, package them precisely, and apply correct labels and documentation.
- Use measurement tools and visual inspection aids to verify tolerances and surface quality.
- Maintain safety rules, uphold 5S, and consistently meet area and company performance expectations.
- Support the team with other assigned duties when needed.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED; 1–3 months related industry experience/training (or equivalent education/experience).
- Basic math for tolerances/variation; familiarity with CNC concepts, laser parameters, and fixturing.
- Experience with diagrams/blueprints; comfortable following technical instructions.
- Competent with hand and power tools; strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to perform accurate work at speed and hit quality and throughput objectives.
- Experience performing QC checks and flagging parts for rework when appropriate.
- Commitment to safe production practices.
- Introductory scripting skills (Visual Basic or similar) and proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.
