Industrial Material Handling Equipment Mechanic (Level 2)
Do you excel at troubleshooting complex MHE systems? Are you the go-to resource when a lift truck throws a code or a conveyor stalls? Ready to lead by example while keeping operations safe and efficient?
Role focus
- Service, inspect, and repair MHE per manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor less experienced mechanics on advanced diagnostics and repairs.
- Schedule and execute routine maintenance across assigned assets to support uptime.
- Source, order, and replace required parts to complete maintenance and repairs.
- Accurately record work orders and maintenance time sheets on schedule.
- Keep work areas safe and clean; consistently follow safety procedures.
- Perform additional maintenance duties as needed.
- Champion the MSC Culture within your team and throughout the company to advance MSC's mission and unity of purpose.
- Support special projects and take on other duties as required.
Minimum qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Five (5) or more years of job-related experience.
- Five (5) years of electrical, mechanical, and systems diagnostics experience with MHE, with emphasis on Raymond, Crown & Hyser equipment.
Preferred
- Technical certification.
- Experience with conveyor systems and controls, plumbing, and HVAC.
Core skills
- Compliance with disposal of DOT regulated items where required.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (Excel/Word).
- Ability to obtain an MSC license to operate warehouse vehicles within the specified timeframe.
Physical demands
- Frequent bending to lift from floor and racks.
- Lift up to 75 pounds.
- Operate at heights up to 50 feet.
- Stand for extended periods.

- Valid state driver's license.
