Your workday starts at 7:00 AM in our Laredo, TX rental facility. By the time your coffee cools, our T3 technology has already lined up your priorities: service intervals to review, parts to order, and data streaming from a wide range of machines — from aerial lifts to earthmovers. You’ll dig into diagnostics across electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and diesel systems, identify root causes fast, and get customers and our fleet back to work with confidence.

What you’ll take on

  • Leverage laptops/tablets and our T3 platform to open, assign, track, and close work orders while staying on top of service schedules.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel issues for customer-owned and rental equipment spanning hundreds of makes and models.
  • Apply rigorous safety practices on every task and site interaction.
  • Document all work thoroughly and promptly each day.
  • Mentor and support developing technicians when needed.
  • Pitch in with equipment and parts pickup/delivery as required.
  • Stay current on OSHA expectations (preferred) and participate in year-round, company-provided OEM training.
  • Jump in on additional duties as the shop needs evolve.

Schedule & pay

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with overtime after 40 hours. This role may include on-call rotations with added compensation.

Skills & qualifications

  • Own the tools required for the role
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude and tool proficiency
  • Deep knowledge of construction equipment; able to interpret schematics and diagrams
  • Excellent customer service, teamwork, and clear written/verbal communication

Education & experience

  • High school diploma required; trade school certificate preferred
  • Prior field service, maintenance, or repair experience preferred

Physical requirements

  • Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
