About Us: Farmers Insurance is recruiting an Agent Protege to serve the Mountain Brook area. This hybrid role combines local, community-facing work in Mountain Brook with district-led training and mentorship in Mobile. Our proven system, sponsorship for licensing, and structured development programs prepare motivated individuals for progressive career opportunities, including a path to agency ownership.

  • Primary Responsibilities
    • Support clients with Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial insurance products.
    • Develop and grow a book of business through networking, referrals, and community outreach across the Mountain Brook area.
    • Complete district training programs, participate in in-office workshops, and engage with mentorship provided by the district and agency.
    • Provide ongoing customer service, assist clients with policy maintenance, and support claims processes.
    • Maintain accurate client records and pursue sales targets and growth objectives consistent with district goals.
  • Requirements
    • Willingness to obtain Alabama insurance licenses (P&C and Life/Health); licensing sponsorship may be available.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build and maintain client relationships.
    • Customer service or sales experience preferred but not required; we welcome driven, coachable candidates seeking a sales and service career.
