What will I do?
- Prepare and stage loads; confirm every item matches the order.
- Load and unload efficiently; secure freight before every departure.
- Run short, local routes designed for optimal time and equipment usage.
- Deliver finished goods and pick up raw materials for production.
- Handle routine inspections and preventive maintenance; report issues immediately.
- Keep vehicles clean and ready; follow all safety/security standards.
What do I need?
- Maintain an active Class A CDL plus a valid DOT medical card.
- High school diploma or GED preferred (not required).
- Ability to read English work instructions and documents.
- Clean driving record and commitment to safe operation.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage time without constant supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail orientation and quality craftsmanship.
- Three years’ driving experience preferred, but not required.
- Flexibility for overtime, including weekends; occasional 12-hour days.
What’s the work setting like?
- Mostly outdoors with seasonal heat/cold; some indoor tasks.
- Required PPE: eye, ear, hand, and foot protection.
- Overtime may include weekends.
What physical ability is needed?
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, reaching, balancing, and lower-extremity stretching.
- Regular grasping/pinching/fine manipulation; occasional bending/squatting.
