Step into a high-output aluminum manufacturing environment where your hands-on expertise keeps production moving. As a Maintenance Technician on our 3rd shift, you’ll be the go-to problem solver for complex electro-mechanical systems and the guardian of uptime across the plant.

A Night in This Role

You arrive, review the maintenance log, and prioritize the most critical items. A conveyor is signaling a fault—within minutes you’re on site, meter in hand, tracing the issue through electrical schematics. Later, you pivot to a scheduled PM on an extrusion press, inspecting hydraulics, testing pneumatics, and documenting every step with precision. Before sunrise, you’ve completed a changeover, tuned a gearbox, and left the area spotless for the next team.

What You’ll Tackle

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems across the facility
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce downtime
• Service and optimize aluminum extrusion presses and their auxiliary/support equipment
• Diagnose issues on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and other rotating assets
• Pinpoint faults in hydraulic and pneumatic circuits (cylinders, valves, and related components)
• Use a multimeter and read electrical schematics to resolve electrical problems quickly and safely
• Interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints and electrical diagrams to guide repairs and installations
• Perform equipment changeovers, adjustments, rebuilds, and new equipment installs
• Complete PMs and record work accurately to maintain clear maintenance histories
• Respond rapidly to breakdowns to protect throughput and quality
• Follow plant safety protocols and keep a clean, orderly work area

What You Bring

• Solid industrial maintenance background in a production setting
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting and repair capability
• Familiarity with motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, and pumps
• Comfort diagnosing electrical systems with a multimeter and schematics
• Ability to read and apply mechanical and electrical drawings
• Background in aluminum extrusion or metal manufacturing is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance methods and scheduling
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to unplanned events
• Reliable attendance, consistency, and a safety-first mindset
