What You’ll Take On

• Create and maintain clear, effective safety programs that meet local, state, and federal requirements.
• Run routine safety inspections and audits; surface hazards and track corrective actions through completion.
• Equip employees with hands-on training for safe work and emergency response.
• Investigate accidents and near-misses; document findings and recommend preventive and corrective measures.
• Work closely with leaders to champion a strong, accountable safety culture.
• Keep thorough, organized records of incidents, inspections, and training.
• Stay ahead of regulatory updates and industry best practices to keep our programs current.

Your Background

• Bachelor’s in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, or related field preferred.
• Experience as a Safety Coordinator or in a comparable safety role.
• Robust knowledge of OSHA standards and general safety practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Works well both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• CSP, CHST, or similar certifications are advantageous.
