KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Outbound Sales & Cold Calling

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls (50–80+ dials per day) targeting healthcare decision-makers including C-suite executives, practice managers, procurement officers, and clinical leads.

• Develop and deliver compelling, tailored value propositions that align with the specific challenges and goals of each healthcare prospect.

• Qualify leads through structured discovery conversations, assess organisational fit, and advance opportunities through the sales funnel.

• Handle objections confidently and professionally, using consultative selling techniques to build trust and progress conversations.

• Log all outreach activity, call outcomes, and follow-up actions accurately in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

• Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs including call targets, meetings booked, and pipeline value generated.

Email Marketing & Campaign Management

• Design, write, and execute targeted outbound email campaigns aimed at key healthcare segments, ensuring messaging is compliant, personalised, and conversion-focused.

• Develop multi-step drip sequences that nurture prospects through awareness, consideration, and decision stages.

• A/B test subject lines, CTAs, send times, and messaging frameworks to continuously optimise open rates, click-through rates, and reply rates.

• Manage email lists with rigorous segmentation — by speciality, geography, role type, and engagement level — to ensure relevance and deliverability.

• Monitor campaign analytics and produce regular performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.

• Maintain compliance with applicable email regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR where relevant) and healthcare communication standards.

LinkedIn Engagement & Lead Generation

• Build and maintain a strong LinkedIn presence to establish credibility within the healthcare industry.

• Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other prospecting tools to identify, research, and connect with high-value healthcare prospects.

• Execute personalised LinkedIn outreach campaigns (connection requests, InMails, follow-ups) aligned to buyer personas and organisational goals.

• Engage meaningfully with relevant healthcare content — commenting, sharing insights, and creating thought leadership posts to drive inbound interest.

• Track engagement metrics (acceptance rates, response rates, profile views, InMail performance) and refine strategy accordingly.

Pipeline & Full Outreach Lifecycle Management

• Own the complete prospect journey from initial identification and first contact through to qualified meeting handoff or direct close.

• Coordinate follow-up sequences across channels (phone, email, LinkedIn) in a structured and timely manner.

• Collaborate with the marketing and sales leadership teams to ensure messaging consistency and campaign alignment.

• Provide regular pipeline updates and forecasting inputs to the Head of Sales.

• Continuously research healthcare market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to sharpen targeting.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential

• Minimum 2–4 years of proven B2B sales experience within the healthcare industry (e.g., MedTech, SaaS for healthcare, pharma, healthcare staffing, diagnostics, or health IT).

• Demonstrated success with outbound cold calling, preferably in high-volume environments, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

• Hands-on experience creating and managing email outreach campaigns using platforms such as Outreach, Salesloft, Mailshake, Apollo, or similar.

• Active experience leveraging LinkedIn for prospecting, including proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different healthcare audiences.

• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling skills grounded in consultative or solution-based selling.

• Proven ability to independently manage the full outreach lifecycle without day-to-day supervision.

• Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and ability to maintain accurate, up-to-date records.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and prospect lists simultaneously.

Desirable

• Knowledge of healthcare terminology, buying processes, procurement cycles, and regulatory considerations.

• Experience selling to NHS Trusts, private healthcare groups, GP networks, hospital systems, or integrated care systems (ICS/ICB).

• Familiarity with intent data platforms (Bombora, G2, etc.) and enrichment tools (ZoomInfo, Lusha, Apollo).
