Senior Business Development Representative

About the Role

A well-funded AI-native B2B SaaS company in the industrial procurement space is looking for a Senior Business Development Representative to join its Go-to-Market team in Munich. You'll own the prospecting pipeline end-to-end, drive outbound and inbound lead generation, and help scale sales across industrial customers in Europe. This is a hands-on role in a fast-growing, feedback-driven sales environment with strong opportunities for career advancement.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full prospecting pipeline — identifying and converting new leads via phone, email, and social media.
  • Run discovery conversations and build qualified opportunities for the broader sales team.
  • Execute and continuously iterate on outbound and inbound lead generation strategies.
  • Conduct independent market research to identify B2B prospects and tailor outreach messaging.
  • Develop and maintain persuasive sales materials, call scripts, and communication templates.
  • Deliver internal training sessions and workshops to share best practices across the team.
  • Build deep product, market, and customer knowledge to engage prospects with confidence.
  • Leverage AI tools and experiments to accelerate prospecting and optimise workflows.
  • Contribute to a high-velocity, metrics-driven sales culture.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS or B2B sales, with a proven track record of building and delivering prospecting pipelines and closing or validating leads.
  • Experience owning the full prospecting cycle — phone, email, and social media — in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and refine call scripts and communication templates.
  • Experience organising and delivering internal sales training sessions or workshops.
  • Strong skills in independent market research and development of compelling sales materials and presentations.
  • Hands-on experience testing and implementing outbound and inbound lead generation strategies.
  • Comfort identifying opportunities to apply AI tools to accelerate sales workflows.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German (required).
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site in Munich (required).
  • Resilience, goal orientation, and a positive attitude toward ambitious targets.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior exposure to the industrial sector or procurement-related domains.
  • Previous startup or fast-growth environment experience.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML tools and their application in sales processes.

Location

This is a fully on-site role based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. Visa sponsorship is not available — candidates must already have the right to work in Germany.
