We’re looking for a Downstream Operations Production Lead who thrives in a high-volume environment and leads through service, respect, and continuous improvement. In this role, you’ll coordinate a second-shift finishing area, champion safety, and drive predictable, efficient output.

Schedule & Location
- Ripon, WI
- Second shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 pm to 1:00 am
- Occasional Friday overtime from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
What You’ll Do
- Maintain current knowledge of safety regulations; implement and enforce required procedures.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is available and used correctly (bump caps, gloves, eye protection).
- Promote ergonomic practices such as adjustable workstations, proper seating, and regular breaks.
- Set annual goals aligned to operating metrics; track and communicate progress.
- Interface with technical staff to secure resources and resolve issues quickly.
- Continuously improve processes; reduce inventories and work-in-progress.
- Serve as first contact for employee relations concerns; work with Union Stewards on contract and discipline matters.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Servant leadership orientation and a strong record of leading by example.
- 1–3 years in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing preferred.
- Previous manufacturing supervision preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations preferred.
- Internship/co-op/professional experience considered relevant.

- Safety leadership: encourage reporting without retaliation; conduct audits; correct non-compliance promptly.
- Coaching and mentoring within a team environment; holds others accountable to standards.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Strong problem-solving mindset; promotes proactive, solution-oriented thinking.
- Preferred exposure to process control, production scheduling, Kaizen, Kanban, and Lean.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stoop, bend, stand for extended periods, demonstrate manual dexterity, and lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
