Industrial Painter

Responsible for work flow through the paint room and performing painting operations per customer requirements in accordance with established quality, productivity and safety guidelines.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operation and maintenance of industrial paint booth equipment.
• This would include airless/air-assisted paint pump, adjusting spray pressure, switching colors and cleaning the booth and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in spray painting

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
• Ability to regulate width and pressure of spray according to knowledge of painting technique.
• Ability to pass physical and respirator fit test.
• Successful completion of an internal painting competency test.
