Responsibilities
- Perform flux core welding on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance welding skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred.
- Proven experience as a Flux Core Welder or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Welding certification is a plus.
