Mission
Own the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment throughout the facility—safely, efficiently, and with craftsmanship.
What You Will Do
- Use blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions to scope and complete work
- Install, assemble, align, test, diagnose, and repair plant mechanical assets
- Maintain conveyors, hoists, lifts, power shafting, pulleys, and related components
- Dismantle, move, install, and commission machinery and mechanical systems
- Execute on-site fabrication: cutting, drilling, bending, burning, and framing changes
- Perform equipment inspections and precision alignment tasks
- Safely operate overhead and mobile cranes, hoists, rollers, dollies, and hand tools
- Apply welding skills to perform and support equipment repairs
- Keep work areas orderly and compliant with safety standards
- Work assigned schedules to meet production requirements
Qualifications
- Solid industrial/manufacturing mechanical maintenance experience
- Welding and fabrication proficiency
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment
- Demonstrated safety focus and PPE adherence
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing plant with a fast pace
- Exposure to moderate to extreme climate conditions
- Confined spaces and elevated work areas
Physical Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, twisting, and balancing
- Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces; respirator use may be required
- Lift and carry up to 100 lbs
- Repetitive motion of hands and wrists
- Use of both arms above and below shoulder level
- Ability to remain in the same position for extended periods
- Exposure to dust, fumes, gases, chemicals, and extreme weather
PPE Required
Safety glasses, steel-toe boots, hard hat, hearing protection, and respirator when necessary.
