About the Role

A seed-stage developer tools startup in the healthcare automation space is hiring its first dedicated business hire — a Founding Operator — to work directly alongside the CEO. This is a high-ownership, cross-functional role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to help scale every non-engineering function of a growing company from the ground up.

The company builds a developer platform for browser automation, turning web-based tasks into programmable APIs. Their customers include healthcare AI companies and enterprise revenue cycle management (RCM) firms running tens of thousands of automations daily. This is a rare opportunity to join at a very early stage and shape the trajectory of the business.

What You'll Do

  • Partner directly with the CEO across sales, recruiting, customer success, marketing, and events to help scale the company 10x.
  • Research prospects, run outbound sequences, book discovery calls, and support deal cycles with healthcare AI companies and enterprise RCM firms.
  • Source candidates, manage hiring pipelines, coordinate interviews, and help close new hires.
  • Plan and execute networking events, dinners, and meetups in the SF healthcare AI ecosystem; represent the company at conferences.
  • Shape positioning, draft outbound messaging, manage social presence, and help produce content for healthcare operators and buyers.
  • Serve as first-line customer support — triage issues, escalate to engineering when needed, and ensure customers feel well taken care of.
  • Manage vendors, internal tooling, and process documentation to keep the business running smoothly.
  • Build repeatable processes from scratch and own outcomes end-to-end across diverse business needs.

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 1–4 years of experience in a high-performance environment — startups, consulting, banking, or similar — with demonstrated high output and ownership.
  • Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate; this is a fully in-person role. Must be eligible to work in the US (visa sponsorship is not available).
  • Hands-on experience with outbound sales: researching prospects, running outreach sequences, booking discovery calls, and supporting deal cycles.
  • Experience sourcing candidates, managing interview pipelines, coordinating interviews, and helping close hires.
  • Experience with vendor management, internal tooling maintenance, and process documentation.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build rapport with C-suite executives, investors, and engineers.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in healthcare, health tech, or selling to healthcare buyers — ideally with exposure to revenue cycle management or healthcare operations.
  • Prior seed or Series A startup experience.
  • Technical background or comfort with developer tools (helpful for speaking the language of an engineering-heavy customer base).
  • Familiarity with outbound sales tools such as Apollo or Clay.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $125,000 – $175,000 USD annually

Location

San Francisco, CA — on-site, full-time. Candidates must be based in SF or willing to relocate. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available for this role.
