As a seasoned Millwright Mechanic with industrial facility experience, you keep plant assets reliable by blending hands‑on mechanical work with practical electrical know‑how, always leading with safety.
What your day looks like
- Respond quickly to call‑outs to sustain plant availability and limit downtime.
- Repair, replace, install, and remove mechanical and electrical equipment, plus related structural components.
- Verify maintenance clearances before starting work to ensure safe, compliant execution.
- Troubleshoot machinery, pinpoint failures, and determine the right corrective actions.
- Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and commission equipment and associated mechanical parts.
- Monitor equipment and analyze operating data to spot abnormalities and emerging issues.
- Advance reliability and preventive maintenance by identifying wear and addressing problems pre‑failure.
- Follow plant safety rules, including lockout/tagout and standard operating procedures.
- Work closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering to keep the plant running smoothly.
What you bring
- Background in industrial plants, refineries, manufacturing, or similar heavy environments.
- Expertise in mechanical repair, rotating equipment, and core millwright practices.
- Ability to read maintenance clearances, technical manuals, and equipment specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting, diagnostics, and practical problem‑solving.
- Safety‑first mindset with LOTO and permit‑to‑work familiarity.
- Team orientation and flexibility to respond to call‑outs and shifting operational needs.
