Join LaborPRO Staffing as a Secure Mailstream Sortation Operator. This is an entry-level, temp-to-hire role with immediate start dates. No prior experience is needed—bring your reliability, attention to detail, and readiness to learn.
A Day in the Life
On a typical shift, you’ll clock in, review safety guidelines, and step onto the processing floor of a secure mail and package facility. Your work will include:
- Scanning shipping and package labels with accuracy
- Loading parcels onto conveyor lines and removing them when routed
- Sorting items to the correct processing zones
- Confirming label details and package data
- Repeating scan–sort–handle tasks with steady pace and precision
- Standing for extended periods while maintaining productivity independently
- Keeping your station clean, organized, and compliant
- Following facility, safety, security, and package-handling procedures at all times
Shifts
- 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm (10-12 hours daily)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm (10-12 hours daily)
- Open Monday–Saturday. Saturday work is required; you’ll receive an additional weekday off.
What You Bring
- Entry-level friendly—no experience required
- Dependable attendance and reliability
- Comfort standing for long stretches
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks safely and consistently
- Capability to handle packages and basic physical warehouse duties
- Work well independently with minimal supervision
- Follow written and verbal directions
- Keen attention to detail when scanning and processing
- Background in warehouse, shipping, receiving, sorting, or mail processing is a plus—but not required
Language
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Basic English skills preferred for instructions, safety, and security communications
