Pay: $60–$105 per hour, based on experience
Per Diem: $65–$120 per day (eligibility applies)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Minimum 6 months
You will guide the building services scope on a large data center or similarly complex project in Texas. If you thrive on synchronizing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life-safety, and controls systems in mission-critical or large-scale environments, this contract role is built for you.
A Day in the Role
- Orchestrate multidisciplinary coordination across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls to keep the whole system moving in step.
- Interface daily with Project Managers, Superintendents, trade partners, engineers, vendors, commissioning specialists, and client teams to align priorities and commitments.
- Interrogate design and coordination artifacts—drawings, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, equipment schedules, and installation work plans—to drive clear, buildable direction.
- Lead constructability reviews, resolve clashes, shape installation sequencing and logistics, and ensure smooth integration of systems.
- Measure progress against the master schedule, flag risks early, and help course-correct to protect critical path milestones.
- Coordinate inspections and testing, prepare systems for commissioning, manage punch items, and organize turnover documentation.
- Verify that all MEP installation meets contract documents, applicable codes, safety requirements, quality benchmarks, and owner expectations.
- Triage field issues—equipment, installation, design coordination, commissioning hurdles—and drive timely resolution.
- Maintain crisp documentation: progress reports, meeting minutes, action registers, and project records.

- Exposure to BIM-enabled coordination and tools such as Navisworks, Revit, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is a plus.
