A manufacturing company in Indianapolis, IN is looking for a Line Equipment Operator for a 1st shift opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Maintains accurate weights and measures
- Maintains accurate compliance with packaging instructions and criteria
- Responsible for operational settings and adjustment of assigned equipment for compliance with packaging instructions and criteria
- Assists the Crew Leader or Supervisor in the completion of daily production reports
- Maintains equipment and immediate area of work station in a neat and orderly condition
- Will be trained for competent operation in a minimum of five (5) work stations
- Responsible for operations settings and adjustments of assigned equipment for compliance with quality and productions standards
Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, understand and comply with Bills of Material, processing/work instructions and packaging instructions
- Must not be color blind
- Must be able to lift up 50 - 75 lbs. (repetitively)
- Must be able to do cycle counts of materials, - i.e. Labels, boxes and cartons, etc
- Must be able to report production output and activities
- Must be able to present production information to management
- Safely and effectively operate all equipment necessary to perform assigned duties
- Ability to read and write
- Must be able to use a tape measure
- Must be able to work in hot environments
