With shop tools and precision measuring instruments at the ready, you dive into component-level troubleshooting, isolate the fault, and perform exacting solder and desolder operations that meet IPC and J-STD requirements. You log results per procedure, update rework charts and SPC data, and move to the next board, where you’ll incorporate an approved change, verify fastener alignment and connections, and complete a clean fit check before closing documentation. Throughout the day, you keep your bench organized, your tools calibrated, and your attention fixed on quality, safety, and schedule—working under general supervision while contributing recommendations that improve both product and process.
