Flexo Printing Operator — Packaging Substrates (Req #2359)

When you work:
- Mon–Thu: 8:00am–4:00pm
- Fri: 7:00am–3:00pm
Compensation: $28–$34 per hour (DOE)
Is this you?
- Do you take pride in nailing registration, repeat length, and color accuracy on a flexographic press?
- Are you comfortable switching between plastic films, paper, and other nonabsorbent stocks without slowing down quality or throughput?
- Can you spot blur, off-center impressions, curl, or color shift from a single sample?
What you will do
- Set up and run a flexographic web press for printed designs and lettering on a range of substrates used in bags, cups, and related packaging
- Interpret job tickets; mount specified rubber plates and printing dies, install cylinders on shafts, and secure assemblies
- Start up, then dial in speed, registration, alignment, web tension, adhesive weights, and repeat lengths
- Pull and review samples from the end of the roll to confirm appearance and color; correct any defects immediately
- Clean plates, cylinders, and die or type components with solvent; lubricate the press as part of routine care
- Mix inks or dyes as required to meet color targets
- Perform tasks that involve bending, twisting, overhead reaching, and kneeling while following safety protocols

Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience operating flexographic presses or closely related equipment
- Broad knowledge of flexographic label and web-printing methods
- Accurate color assessment skills and attention to detail
- Flexible, safety-focused, and eager to learn
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
