Maintenance Technician (Multicraft)

Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a multicraft role requiring a mix of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. This position will focus on maintaining, repairing, and improving production equipment including CNC machinery and automated systems.
Pay:
Pay is based on experience and skill level: $23-35/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment including mills and lathes
- Maintain and support PLC-controlled equipment (troubleshooting only, no programming required)
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Diagnose issues in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Support installation and startup of new equipment
- Assist with facility maintenance as needed (plumbing, electrical, general repairs)
- Fabricate or repair components using blueprints and drawings
- Install and move production equipment using proper rigging techniques
- Work cross-functionally with maintenance and engineering teams
- Participate in continuous improvement and training initiatives
Qualifications:
- Experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical knowledge
- Experience with three-phase motors, VFDs, and servos
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC systems and read ladder logic
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Familiarity with CNC equipment (mills and lathes)
- Robotics experience is a plus (Fanuc or cobots preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
