Industrial Millwright

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Job description:

Holland Sharpe is currently seeking experienced Industrial Millwrights for project-based work in the Clarksville, TN area. We are looking for skilled tradespeople with a strong mechanical background and experience installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Millwright experience required
• Install, assemble, dismantle, and relocate industrial machinery and production equipment
• Perform mechanical installation and alignment of motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and other industrial equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics, and equipment specifications
• Perform precision alignment, leveling, measuring, and equipment positioning
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and machinery
• Remove and replace bearings, shafts, couplings, belts, chains, sprockets, and other mechanical components
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, hoists, come-alongs, and precision measuring tools
• Assist with rigging, lifting, positioning, and installation of heavy machinery and equipment
• Work closely with welders, pipe fitters, electricians, and other skilled trades on industrial projects
• Follow all required jobsite safety procedures, PPE requirements, and project-specific safety standards
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial field environment

Experience: 5+ years of Millwright experience required
