What a day looks like

In Forest, MS, you’ll be the go-to problem solver who keeps our facilities humming. Your morning might start with a preventive inspection on a conveyor line, followed by diagnosing an electrical fault on a VFD, then collaborating with teammates to fine-tune a maintenance procedure. You’ll document your work, answer urgent calls when equipment stops, and always put safety first.

What you’ll do

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and building systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and optimal performance
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
  • Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Collaborate with teammates to improve processes and efficiency
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

What you bring

  • At least 1 year of mechanical work experience within the last 2 years (can be combined across employers)
  • Rehire eligibility: accepted only after 365 days away and fewer than 3 prior terms
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid identification
  • Comfort using basic hand tools
  • Foundational knowledge in welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and plumbing
  • Able to read and understand work assignments
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb stairs up to 120 feet and ladders up to 60 feet, stand for long periods, and work in hot, cold, and inclement weather
