Your morning might start with a preventive inspection on a conveyor line, followed by diagnosing an electrical fault on a VFD, then collaborating with teammates to fine-tune a maintenance procedure. You’ll document your work, answer urgent calls when equipment stops, and always put safety first.

What you’ll do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and building systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and optimal performance
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Collaborate with teammates to improve processes and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
What you bring
- At least 1 year of mechanical work experience within the last 2 years (can be combined across employers)
- Rehire eligibility: accepted only after 365 days away and fewer than 3 prior terms
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid identification
- Comfort using basic hand tools
- Foundational knowledge in welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and plumbing
- Able to read and understand work assignments
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb stairs up to 120 feet and ladders up to 60 feet, stand for long periods, and work in hot, cold, and inclement weather
