Your Mission

Transform brand goals into engineered, manufacturable folding cartons that look great and run flawlessly. You’ll:

• Lead concepting, sketching, and prototyping of structural designs for folding cartons.
• Apply structural best practices to meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
• Work directly with customers to uncover needs and align on specifications.
• Stay current on market and material trends; research new substrates, techniques, and technologies.
• Recommend materials that balance performance, availability, and cost.
• Build accurate 2D/3D models and dielines in CAD (ArtiosCAD).
• Operate and maintain the sample cutting table (e.g., Kongsberg) and keep CAD/project files organized.
• Run multiple projects at once, hitting every milestone.
• Coordinate closely with production to ensure a seamless handoff and on-press success.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Thorough knowledge of structural packaging design and converting techniques.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years in a related packaging/structural design role.
• Experience operating a sample cutting table.
• 1+ years with ArtiosCAD, plus proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (REQUIRED). Experience with Esko Cape Pack and WebCenter is beneficial; Adobe applications and Salesforce are nice-to-have.
• Team orientation with the ability to multitask against deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analytical, troubleshooting mindset; exceptional attention to detail and excellent close vision.
• Reliable time management and organization.
