Shipping Specialist

Shipping Specialist responsible for preparing, packaging, and dispatching outgoing orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of dental products.

• Key responsibilities
  • Prepare, package, and label orders according to specifications and quality standards.
  • Verify items against order documentation and update inventory/warehouse management systems.
  • Create and maintain shipping documentation (packing slips, bills of lading, carrier labels).
  • Coordinate pickups and shipments with carriers and vendors.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks; assist with loading and unloading shipments.
  • Follow carrier regulations and safety protocols, including handling of fragile or regulated items.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and report discrepancies or damages promptly.
• Required skills and qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and warehouse management or shipping software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and order verification.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift and move packages.
  • Effective verbal communication and ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment.
• Preferred
  • Prior shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience; experience in a dental or medical device environment is a plus.
  • Experience operating forklifts or other powered material handling equipment (training/certification as applicable).
