Your Impact

  • Direct field oversight of pump installations/start‑ups at power plants and industrial sites
  • Hands‑on installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting for new and expanding customers
  • Primary customer liaison—own escalations and drive swift resolution
  • Train customers, sales, and internal teams; provide ongoing technical support
  • Produce timely service, expense, and weekly time reports
  • Build durable customer relationships; support retention, loyalty, and profitability
  • Capture product and business insights; surface and route qualified sales leads
  • Identify product/service improvement areas and propose corrective actions
  • Travel extensively with frequent overnight stays; international trips as required
  • Remain on‑call 24/7 except during planned absences (vacation, medical, etc.)
  • Perform tasks requiring some heavy lifting
  • Expect extended project assignments; typical productivity/travel is 80–100%

What You’ll Need

  • Deep knowledge of high‑energy pumps and pumping applications; demonstrated sales acumen
  • Hands‑on proficiency with OEM pumps and multi‑brand equipment
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Analytical problem‑solving and sound judgment
  • Team‑oriented, patient, and customer‑centric under all conditions
  • Unwavering commitment to represent Hydro’s interests on site
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office and Adobe

Background

  • 5+ years field or shop experience with high‑energy pumps and related equipment (required)
  • Cross‑OEM experience (strong plus)
  • Aftermarket sales and/or field service background (plus)

Role Logistics

  • Home‑based position with extensive overnight travel; U.S. and international
  • Job Type: Full‑time
  • Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday; extended hours as needed
  • On‑call: 24/7 availability except during planned absences
  • Willingness to travel: 75% preferred (often 80–100% based on project load)
