Core responsibilities
Routine service and corrective repairs on semi trailers: brakes, lighting, electrical, and suspension systems.
End-to-end diagnostics for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults; implement effective solutions.
Comprehensive safety and compliance inspections; provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades.
Thorough documentation of services performed, parts used, and inspection outcomes.
Cross-team collaboration to meet deadlines and uphold service standards.
Continuous learning—stay aligned with industry standards, OEM specs, and best practices.
Customer-facing communication to explain findings, repair options, and maintenance needs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in automotive or diesel technology preferred.
Proven background as a semi trailer technician or similar heavy-duty repair role.
Proficiency across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Comfortable reading/using technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
Analytical problem-solver with high attention to detail.
Clear communicator and dependable teammate.
Valid driver’s license; clean driving record.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings/weekends.
