Aerospace Quality Assurance Inspector
Reports To: Director of Quality
Department: 513
What a day looks like
You start your shift on the manufacturing floor, moving between cells with your inspection tools in hand—calipers, micrometers, and height gauges—verifying parts against drawings and specs. You capture results with precision, flag any nonconformances you see, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with production and engineering to keep product moving without sacrificing quality. Later, you’ll review First Article Inspection (FAI) packets for approval, support DQR activities for customers, and update metrics you own as the FAI subject matter expert. As audits approach, you’ll help the team prepare and follow through on actions. Throughout the day, you maintain accurate records in our quality systems and contribute ideas that drive continuous improvement across materials, processes, and finished goods.
