Forklift Operator / Material Handler

Temp to Hire / Monday through Friday / 7am start time / $23-$24 an hour

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join our dynamic team in San Clemente, CA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution processes. Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (sit down/stand up) and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
• Transport materials to designated areas within the facility.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one year of forklift experience, both sit-down and stand-up. Certification is a plus.

• Computer skills are a plus.

• Must have the flexibility to switch tasks and departments as needed.

• High school diploma or GED completion required.

• Reliable, predictable attendance is required.

• Must be physically able to wear a respirator.

• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds

• Employee must have no food allergies.

• Be willing to pass a background check and drug screening.
