A Day in This Role

Step onto the production floor and put your electrical know-how to work. You’ll keep lines moving and downtime low by diagnosing issues fast and fixing them right the first time. Expect to:

• Perform electrical maintenance safely and cost-effectively to minimize unplanned stops.
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, service, calibrate, install, and configure production and manufacturing equipment.
• Execute work orders with clear documentation of actions taken.
• Communicate findings and next steps with peers, supervisors, and managers.
• Troubleshoot PLC hardware and interpret electrical test results.
• Read and apply electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
• Create accurate records and reports; apply the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Plan and prioritize tasks, multitask under pressure, and flex your schedule as needed.

Equipment You’ll Support

AC & DC motors; motor controls; VFD’s; electrical distribution (480vac or less); PLC’s; pneumatics; hydraulics; extruders; winders; packing and box machinery; slitters; center-folders; grinders; shredders; chillers; heat exchangers; conveyors; and air compressors.

What You Bring

• 1+ year as an Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance Electrician, OR 2 years trade/tech school in a related field, OR 4 years Industrial/Manufacturing experience with strong electrical skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently, with other trades, and alongside operations in a team environment with limited supervision.
• Physical capability to stand for long periods; climb, kneel, squat, crawl; and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment, instrumentation/controls; AC & DC motors, motor controls, MCCs; power distribution; AC variable frequency drives/DC variable speed drives; PLCs/automation; and general Industrial/Manufacturing standards including OSHA.

Compensation

• Now offering a $7,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates (restrictions apply).
• Starting pay: $31.09/hour, paid weekly.
• Eligible for annual and skill-based wage increases.
• Monthly bonus opportunity based on plant productivity*.

Schedule

7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (2x2x3). Rotates quarterly between days and nights.
