Multimachine Production Technician

Why this role matters

What you'll tackle

  • Simultaneously operate more than one machine and make on-the-fly adjustments.
  • Set up and sharpen tooling; complete CNC setup/changeover for new runs.
  • Feed parts into equipment by hand or with a hopper dumper to maintain flow.
  • Conduct quality inspections using prints and precision instruments.
  • Move product and scrap via lift truck; stage and package finished goods.
  • Enter data into ERP; complete labor and scrap reports accurately and on time.
  • Flag quality, machine, and inventory concerns to the group leader promptly.
  • Participate in foundry operations (investment casting) as needed.

Must-haves

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Prior machine operator experience (1+ year preferred).
  • Strong math, print reading, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Capable of multitasking while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with clear, professional communication.
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and ERP use.
  • Comfort with hand tools and precision gauges; forklift experience.

Physical reality of the work

  • Lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Frequent bending/stooping.
  • Stand and walk 8+ hours; traverse long distances during the shift.
  • Climb step stools and small ladders as tasks require.
